Self-host is a tested deployment on Microsoft Azure — in your own subscription and VNet, behind your controls — plus on-prem and your own cloud. Your traffic and audit logs stay in your infrastructure, so you control the Article 12 evidence chain. (Azure applies to self-host only; the SaaS is EU-hosted on Hetzner.)
Audit-as-proof — the verifiable, tamper-evident chain plus the RFC 3161 anchor and offline verifier — is a pilot capability (v1.1.7). The published release does metadata logging; we'll tell you exactly where it stands for your deployment.

What exactly gets deployed?
Docker images for the proxy, the dashboard and the audit/verifier tooling. You run them in your cloud or on-prem; your LLM provider keys and traffic never reach us.
What does the licence cover?
An annual self-host licence from €5,000/year (large accounts on quote): the software, updates (security + AI Act evolutions), deployment onboarding, and best-effort email support.
Does the audit trail still verify without you?
Yes — that's the point. The offline verifier is pure Python with three public libraries; your auditor checks the proof bundle with no database and no Senthex server.
Does this make us EU AI Act compliant out of the box?
No vendor makes you compliant alone. Self-host gives you the technical controls for Article 12 & 19 record-keeping — per-call records and retention you control. The conformity assessment and documentation remain yours.
Can we deploy Senthex on Azure?
Yes — self-host is tested on Microsoft Azure (your own subscription / VNet). It runs behind your network controls; no traffic or audit log transits Senthex. This is the deploy-an-LLM-firewall-on-Azure path for teams that need their EU AI Act evidence chain inside their own tenant. Note: Azure is a self-host deployment target only — the SaaS runs EU-hosted on Hetzner, not Azure.
